Though it's late in the month, it's never too late to acknowledge a monthly awareness. Each month has several, and July is no exception. One for this month is Recreation and Parks Month. I know it's the last week, but I promise to make it count. Hopefully you'll be inspired to stop and smell the flowers or volunteer to help preserve hiking trails. You'll be informed on the current issues that need your help or on fascinating facts that you can share with others. Whatever the case may be, it's never too late to enjoy the outdoors. And, for that matter, don't let it stop in July!
More to come!
If you came looking for Apple Guardians, you found it! Only the site name has changed. All else stays the same. Welcome back.

July is Recreation and Parks Month
I'm a Master Naturalist and an outdoor enthusiast -- mostly kayaking, and I live on a Peninsula in the Chesapeake Bay. I'm the author of The Nature Fan, Nature Fan Activists, Green Earth Almanac, and Amanda's Geographic. Formerly, I ran the nationally syndicated column "National Green Activism" for The Examiner, and I was a key factor in the success of many campaigns. Make sure you don't miss a post, and subscribe by email! Thanks for reading.
